A loss could never blemish the skill he displayed. A young Floyd passes anybody's eye test hands down

Canelo wasn't anywhere near "prime" when Mayweather fought him. Canelo's in his prime now but he was wet behind the ears back then. He has much more boxing wisdom, power and experience at this point.

Honestly I think a loss would have been good for Floyd's legacy. I think he would have chased more fights to prove his worth. His whole image was wrapped up in being undefeated so I think a loss totally changes how his career looks, granted that's saying it happened with like Castillo.

The last 35 to forty years. There were some great fighters. Hearns Leonard, Duran and Benitez, Donald Curry. Terry Norris, Mike McCallum at super welterweight.

Most of those guys were welterweights. A division May fought in. Its a valid point. He also fought at super welterweight.

yea but that was those guys nat weight except duran where Floyd walked around at that weight.to be fair I think you need to match him between 130-140

You didn't say that in your original post. Then add Aaron Pryor to your list. He has a good chance of beating Floyd. Possibly Meldrick Taylor but he may not punch hard enough to get Mayweather's attention. He certainly had the hand speed and combination punching.

floyd boys get mad because they know they don't really have a comeback when you cite how inferior his resume is to his comtemporaries..
