        Are you mentally challenged?

I don't see any quotes in that article indicating 2018. Perhaps you're the mentally challenged one?

Actually I think Wilder is a rarity A REAL COMPETITOR, Povetkin was looking great and Wilder agreed to fight him IN RUSSIA, A lot of people were saying Luis Ortiz was the best heavyweight in boxing, but Wilder had a mandatory due against a fighter he had already beaten soundly Stiverne, so wilder gave Stiverne step aside money and took LESS money to fight a man (Ortiz) considered maybe the best heavyweight certainly better than Stiverne ( This is what Lou Dibella said) Povetkin AND Ortiz screwed themselves by taking performance enhancing drugs, Now Wilder is calling out Joshua and Parker now considered the top 2 heavyweights, I think Wilder just WANTS TO COMPETE and see who is the best, Win or Lose Boxing needs more REAL COMPETITORS like Wilder.

                He lacks confidence.

The world doesn't know who Deontay Wilder is. Most of Alabama don't even know who Deontay Wilder is.

There are bigger fights for AJ than Wilder, and they can't fight each other before 2018 anyway, because both have mandos to take care of.

Maybe, but he waited a hell of a long time before he started trying do anything about it. He has the worst resume of any world champion I can think of, ever, and he can't blame that on Povetkin and Ortiz.

How is it even relevant if there's no quote in there? The article stated that he reiterated on Friday that he would be fighting Wilder in 2018 therefore it's plain as day that he clearly has said that he'll fight Wilder in 2018. That's just common sense, unless you're saying boxing scene is intentionally posting lies?
