Keep telling yourself that he is actually willing to face Wilder. He goes in debt with every other fighter but fighting Wilder is at some distant insecure future. Look at Hearn saying today that there is not possible way Wilder will get 50/50, what does that sounds like to you?

Wilder wants it next, Joshua doesnt care when it happens cause hes getting paid no matter what. Who else in the heavyweight division thats active is well known besides Joshua. Anyone can fight Joshua and its going to make money. Wilder against Joshua would make huge bucks no matter what, and it would be promoted heavy in the states. It should happen first thing in 2018 as long as they both win their next fights.Comment

Brits have to understand that you don't own the division with ticket salesAmericans just need to accept Britain owns the heavyweight division. Just like when Lewis beat up Holyfield and busted up Mike Tyson, Riddock Bowe was so petrified of fighting him he threw his belt in a trash can!
Then Tyson Fury smashed up your fighters and ruled the division.
Now AJ rules supreme and is busting up more yanks.
When AJ retires will an American finally get a chance to reign supreme? hell no unlucky chaps, Dynamite Daniel Dubois is emerging on the horizon to smash up some more of your heavyweights.
This isn't a popularity contest.
AJ doesn't own anything until he actually unifies.Comment

The surreal hypocrisy and double standards at this place take some getting used to!It really is astonishing how Wilder fans can give AJ ****.
A man who in 19 fights has accomplished way more than Wilder in 40 fights. Yet they give AJ **** as if HE is some sort of ducker and has fought nobody. The sheer gall of the average yank is quite incredible. I am just shaking my head in disbelief reading some of this ****.Comment

It doesn't matter what the fans do, the market decides the fights that gets made. Understanding the marketing side of boxing doesn't necesarily mean one is promoting or excusing a ducking. The biggest fights are the mostly the biggest money fights, and if a fight potentially big fight doesn't bring in the funds then the fight doesn't happen period.Comment

I really don't think some of them are boxing fans. They are more into the nationality side of things. I couldn't careless what nationality both fighters are, but it is plain clear that one took a bigger risk and it paid off for him.It really is astonishing how Wilder fans can give AJ ****.

The other wants to jump into a fight and have everything his way, if you are the A-side then fine, but when you are NOT the A-side then you would have to dance to someone else's tune.
I don't give a toss what anyone else's say, Wilder should pick up himself and fight Whyte, get his biggest payday, KO/destroy him and then if AJ runs then we can all laugh.
But stay in america and fighting the George washington of the division, then crying on social media doesn't do shit for him.Comment

In fairness to him, I think Deontay was trying to set up a big unification and build his name by fighting Ortiz who is a more dangerous opponent than Dillian.Comment

The fans are the market and Im not sure what additional fans are going ti attend this fight in the UK if Wilder beats Whyte. Wilders record and highlight reel KOs will sell this fight in the UK. Further, think about this, Hearn wants Wilder to absorb all the risk to make the fight bigger in the eyes of UK fans. Isn't the real money in US ppv? Shouldnt the profiles of Wilder and Joshua been built for Vegas and ppv?It doesn't matter what the fans do, the market decides the fights that gets made. Wilder’s highlight reel against who? As of now Joshua/Fury sells more, Whyte rematch, holfyfield etc would probably sell more than a Joshua/Wilder fight in the UK. The UK PPV for a Joshua fight is just more than whatever Americans would pay for now, and that’s because Wilder isn’t a big name in America. If Wilder is a big name Hearn would be flying over there and making that money. The fans are the market and Im not sure what additional fans are going ti attend this fight in the UK if Wilder beats Whyte. There is a reason Wlad came over to the UK for that fight, he could have stayed in German and get 80k in the stadium as usual. Fact is as of now the UK market helps propel Joshua above anyone else.
If Wilder build his name then that fight would happen but he hasn’t, just a peek through his resume and you would know it’s a joke of a resume with the standout name being B.stiverne who he is rematching after 2 years.Comment

Why do you and others feel that the only way Wilder can build his name in the UK is by fighting Whyte? Isnt it the promoters job to actually promote. Wilder vs Whyte for the 3M Hearn offered was basically him saying if you want to fight Joshua then you have to assume all the risk for the minimum amount of money.Wilder’s highlight reel against who? Think for a second...Wilder signed to fight a more dangerous fighter for the same or less money. Yet you believe that the offer Hearn gave was fair and made Wilder the most money while getting him the Joshua fight next spring/summer?Comment
