I dont remember Deontay getting headlines on NSB for winning his pro debut, I think his local paper in Alabama published something (tuscaloosa news ) and even after he won a Bronze for this country the headlines focused on his baby girl's disability namely how that inspired him during the Olympics

Deontay seems like a good guy, but he's opposition was super soft all the way to the title and for the title. Joyce just beat a guy better than Whyte did in the previous fight. Joyce is well known because the UK support their amateurs, and watched him fight for the gold medal. Deontay isn't supported in the US. You shouldn't hate Joyce because he gets love from UK fans, you should hate the useless unsupporting US fans who trash their own fighters.
