  • Comments Thread For: David Haye: If I Beat Bellew, But Sc**** Through - I May Retire!

Winning is not enough for David Haye (28-3, 26 KOs), for his upcoming fight at the end of the year. Haye will face his domestic rival Tony Bellew in their anticipated rematch on December 17 at The O2 in London, live on Sky Sports Box Office. The two fighters collided back in March, with Bellew pulling off a major upset with an eleventh round stoppage win. Haye severely injured his Achilles during the fight and became a one-legged boxer in the second half of the contest.

When Haye will start dropping more pieces of his body around the ring during the fight, he'll realize that it is OVER.

This guys is really lacking confidence. If he wins, what is that? Once you start talking like that its time to retire!

David doing what he always does. Saying top much. Everytime he fights he's in the shape of he's life, makes proclamations about the future ect. We know you're out for two more cash grabs and you may only get one. I watched a whole show on Dave because I thought you were fighting Briggs next.Cant trust you I'm afraid Dave.

Funny. The first fight was a joke because Bellew wasn't good enough to fight Haye. But, now we expect Haye to look equally crappy as Bellew so therein lies the selling point of the rematch.

Bellew himself was concerned about sustaining irreparable damage prior to the first fight. It's insane how it goes from that to" ....Haye will get smashed...." in the rematch. Haye's comments do not appear to be those of a confident fighter. Either that or his newfound humility is a part of his strategy.
