I actually liked the soap opera drama that surrounded the first fight, Tony is a hilarious trash talker, and yes, he kinda got lucky with Haye's achilles exploding mid fight like that.
.......and if Bellew loses? .......in big fashion? ...what does that say about his legacy?
He was never a dominant force at either Lt heavy or cruiser, defended his belt a few times though, got beat by some big names, but never really made a splash across the pond, I think his biggest exposure over here was in the Creed film. I think he has just as much at stake as Haye because I don't think he can get in there against any of the big heavies.
I'll be tuned in for this one, let the trash talking begin. Go Tony B and "Sideshow Bob"!!!

Haye would sell the fight with Joshua and Hearn knows it.
If Haye can win against Bellew and looks good while doing it, Joshua would be a fool not to take this fight. Who else is there for him? Haye is a low risk high reward type of fight, probably the best fight for Joshua out there.
Casual boxing fans dictate the fights in boxing and Joshua vs Haye is the type of fight people want to see, even if it makes zero sense from hardcore boxing fan point of view.

The problem is that Joshua became the much, much bigger name while Haye was pissing about fighting nobodies on Dave and getting injured. Joshua vs Haye is no longer an attractive fight. Joshua can fill a stadium anywhere in the UK and sell hundreds of thousands of PPVs without needing to pay an opponent the sort of money Haye will want.
The ship has sailed, David. Avenge the defeat to Bellew and walk away.
