    Not really, I think Haye is close to getting the fight with Joshua if he wins against Bellew in a convincing fashion. Boxing is all about money fights, Joshua vs Haye brings more money to the table than Joshua fighting the likes of Takam or even Pulev.

    Haye would sell the fight with Joshua and Hearn knows it.

    If Haye can win against Bellew and looks good while doing it, Joshua would be a fool not to take this fight. Who else is there for him? Haye is a low risk high reward type of fight, probably the best fight for Joshua out there.

    Casual boxing fans dictate the fights in boxing and Joshua vs Haye is the type of fight people want to see, even if it makes zero sense from hardcore boxing fan point of view.

      "Even If I win, I may still retire. Even if I beat Tony Bellew, but I sc**** through, I get knocked down, I'm struggling, whatever issue I have, I can't then realistically say I want to fight this big guy who is three inches taller, three stone bigger, 10 years younger, undefeated and with a 100 per cent knock-out record.
      Makes sense. If gets knocked down and it's not due to injury then he'll struggle against stronger fighters like Wilder and AJ, and there's no point carrying on.

              If Haye gets a win over Bellew he should fight the legend Charlie Zelenoff to see what he really has left

                But don't underestimate hoiw big achievement beating bellew is. Josh might not beat bellew easy as well.

                But josh v hsaye would be good. But haye has to build up to that level.

                  Yea, there are two phrases that tell me a fighter will lose;
                  -"I feel like a 25 y/o again."
                  and
                  -"We'll see how I do."

                      This is exactly what I expect to happen. He'll win a comfortable but unspectacular decision and retire before he gets KTFO by a real heavyweight.
