A combination of the Heavyweight Division being more about what's not happening than what is - the HW's were what drew me in years ago. The Wilder-Povetkin-Ortiz sagas - of which I don't blame Wilder for, but my interest in him was hanging on by a thread after years of can-crushing, then Hughie Fury's camp absolutely ****ting on Boxing and New Zealand in general (my home) with their ridiculous scam tactics, which led into one of the worst HW fights in recent memory.

The Mayweather-McGregor fight certainly turned me away too - seeing NSB pages literally jam packed full of nonsense articles about a nonsense fight was horrible. I wouldn't bother coming here for patches just because I didn't want to sift through that **** to get to real boxing.

Secondary to all that, my appreciation for the Welter's has declined as well, we saw a few good fights but top guys are sidelined for too long, fights are too few and far between to get momentum going.

Absolutely stoked we got Canelo-GGG finally, though.

A lot of good fight went down though. Heavyweight situation will be cleared up soon. Spence and Thurman will soon clear up the WW division. Roman Gonzalez met his match. Ward spanked Kov. LMW division is cleaning up too. I saw a lot of positives so far this year.

It took a lot of years, but the brazenly corrupt judges/judging, greedy sanctioning bodies and brazenly corrupt promoters like Blob ArScum has finally pushed away most of my interest as a fan.

Fair points. It's the "soons" that scare the **** out of me and test me the most. A lot of things were MEANT to happen, but boxing has a way of throwing curveballs often.

There were certainly positives to be taken from this year though - maybe my patience faded too quickly.

The only to persons who can fight bums and make a lot of money are Canelo and maybe Joshua. The rest gotta be in decent fights to even got a 5 million plus payday right?
So we should be seeing good match-ups.

I will say **** Danny Garcia, though. He wants no part of Spence or Porter. Who will he be fighting then?

Well keep in mind I'm not concerned with who the perceived "best" fighters are I like fighters with heart and are willing to get in there and go for it, win or lose. If I had to choose one, I guess it's Canelo.

But I'll never miss a fight from:

                    GGG

                    Amir Khan

                    Deontay Wilder

                    David Haye

I see. Brook and Trout should be on your list too.
