Groves is full of mouth and I do hope its a good fight but I feel Eubank is going to look for it from early. Groves will happily get into a ruck thats when I think Eubank will have a big advantage and take him out. Looking forward to this one.

Even a 50% version of Eubank Jr. beats a top version of Groves. Groves isn't very good and his last fight with Cox was competitive until the knockdown. He gets hit a lot and he panics. He'll be looking to tie up Eubank a lot. But I expect Eubank to pretty much finish off Groves' career.

Groves didn't look any good last Saturday. It's almost over for him.

I agree, although wouldnt be surprised to see late TKO win for Eubank Jr

Anyway, no matter how it ends, I just hope it will be a good, entertaining fight

I actually saw a guy on here this week saying he was the fastest super middle since Roy Jones??? Er, Andre Ward, Calzaghe - genuine world class fighters?? Eubank isn't even that fast or impressive. Andre Direll was flawed in his character, but when he started fighting in the last few rounds against Froch, he was genuinely dazzling with his speed.
I see clearly every time I watch Eubank that he's just not that good, not particularly fast, skillful or powerful - he's barely even world class. He's got a good uppercut (overuses it tbh). I'm not a massive Groves fan but I think he should win comfortably.
Agree with everything you said. He's dad told everyone he's a croissant between Jones Leonard and Hagler. Guess someone believed it lol.

Eubank does have speed, athleticism and fantastic work rate but it's all at mid range and reliant on someone coming forward onto him or prone against the ropes so he can unload. He looked terrible trying to pin down bjs and while he has shown improvements in his game it's impossible to assess wether he can control distance any better because all of his opponents have fought at a range he's comfortable with.
They both prefer to fight on the back foot but groves has much the better jab so the onus will be on eubank to force the fight. I concede that eubank does have some impressive elements but I see them being nullified with controlling the distance, a good jab and decent timing.

I think it's groves fight to lose tactically, as long as he doesn't get dragged into a war. That's admittedly a big if with George though.
Yes, I think Groves has regressed abit physically, but advanced in maturity. It's going to be interesting.

Wow you must be a big fan. I haven't seen Eubank beat a world class fighter yet, and youre on how well he could do on 50%.Eubank couldn't get any rhythm against Billy Joe, who's not exactly a superstar. If you were talking about he's father I'd agree. But Jnr is less than a shadow so far.

If the pace slows down and it turns into a boxing match I can see Groves winning but if Eubank jumps on him earlier its game over.
