joe fought a good fight that night and lacy was off, nobody is taking anything away from joe but don't try to build him up like he's great. trust me if he would of fought lacy like we all now lacy can fight he wouldn't be saying lacy don't hit hard then. lacy was only looking for one shot all night.

Vanderpool and Reid are world class fighters.

Sheika is too. Lacy had a good resume. The best fighters he beat are the best fighters Calzaghe beat, other than Mitchell and Eubank.

And Lacy did land some punches. He landed a big right hand in the first round, except Calzaghe took it and never missed a step and kept whooping Lacy with ease. Calzaghe is just on another level than Lacy, skillwise, but that doesn't mean Lacy wouldn't beat almost every other SMW out there, because I think he probably would.

Calzaghe is a style mismatch for most fighters, because he has the handspeed, stamina and punch volume of a welter, and the power of a supermiddle and the chin and toughness of a lightheavy.

Also, let's put it in perspective....He's arrogant in THAT CLIP, but hey, get a grip. That's in the middle of a fight and your adrenaline is off the charts. Before and after the fight he was very respectful of Lacy and had nothing but positive things to say about him. Calzaghe is a class act and should be one of the more respected fighters in the world as far as I'm concerned.
