to be fair to Eddie his Dad was a promoter and packaged something shit like darts and snooker into major TV events as well as fun spectator sports in the case of darts.

It is hard to underestimate just what a legend Barry Hearn is. He could turn up at your front door and sell you an actual piece of human shit for £20 and you'd close the door feeling like a champion.

So it's not that Eddie is a spoilt rich kid, it is that his mentor and father is Barry Hearn, ffs. And then Eddie Hearn was given the keys to castle at Sky Sports and you can't say he hasn't exploited it to the fullest.
