Lemieux fights on HBO with Golden Boy and Centeno is with Al Haymon... do you know anything about boxing?

What about guys like Andy Lee or Matt Korobov? I'll bet they would take a fight in Canada for the amount of money DL is offering. I'd rather see that then Kirkland.

Korobov and Lee have both been super inactive. Lee just came back after 2 years of inactivity and Koborov has been on the shelf for a year. Quillen also recently made a come back after two years.

If it is just a showcase fight wouldn't a guy like Maciej Sulecki be a good hand?? I mean he he did Centeno Jr and folks are saying that Centeno would be a good fight.

The article says saunders is asking for more money than they are willing to pay, im sure lemiuex could go to england to fight so saunders could get his asking price but that would mean lemiuex would be the B side and it sounds like he wants to headline a card where he is the main draw. I don't blame him he's put in the work and put on some great performances, and you really cant blame billy either he's a huge fighter in england, but this is the reason why good fights don't get made Because fighters and promoters have big egos and don't like to swallow their pride for the sake of the fans

lemiuex doesnt sell out arenas in canada. and saunders doesnt sell out arenas in the uk.

there is no money in this fight. they will both be lucky to clear 500k. its a title fight with two 2nd tier middleweights. easy to make

It should be Saunders. They said they want to keep Saunders active so why not try to make this one? - Then again, i doubt Lemieux v Saunders is much of an attraction in USA. Billy can barely draw a crowd here in the UK.
