I remember him as a very efficient fighter who was dirty at times smothered a lot of his opponents work which made for an untidy fight. He had good power and chin. He spend too many years for whatever reasons inactive which were his prime years.

Again as usual Hunter gets carried away .Although an excellent technician he wasn't really active enough and didn't do enough to excite with his style to be called 'a great'.

I want too hear wards victims sing his praises then I will know he was very good.
But boxing fans are powerful and can stop him being as great as he hopes to be. Same with floyd

Too many flaws to be considered anything more than a solid fighter. Nothing amazing. COULD have been amazing if he hadn't fouled the living daylights out of many of his foes thru the years. But he chose to ignore the rules I guess. And of course since he was the anointed golden child olympian, he got away with it almost always.

                      what does he mean honest?

If we're being honest, he should have been DQd against Kessler and Kovalev. That's honesty. If we're being honest, he lost to KOvalev in the first fight. If we're being honest he got a couple of gimmes in the super six. If we're being honest, his only stand out win is over Froch. If we're being honest that is.
