The bullies I know never check out when someone stands up to them. They actually turn up the volume because you're playing into their hands --- thats what they want.
I never seen that movie, but From some one who's been around the block bullies usually want an easy target. That's why they typically prey on the weak. If you fight back, win or lose they usual don't **** with you again. They rather pick on someone who won't do ****. There's always exceptions to the rule. But bullies don't tend to fight other bullies.

I've never seen that. Bullies like to fight. I grew up in the hood and bullies will work you even harder if you fight back and they only stop when they've got everything they want from you or you move out (or stay out of their way). Maybe like a whiteboy bully in a whiteboy suburb neighborhood.

The bullies where I'm from (it's the hood, but far from the worst hood and nowhere near Brownsville Brooklyn which was Tysons hood as a kid) got rep and if you try and take that rep from them you're going to get hurt on a daily basis.

It'll get worse and worse. Thats the type of bully you'll find in Tyson's neighborhood and he showed that in the Holyfield fights. He was getting hit with headbutts and elbows from Evander so he bit that cats ear off. He took it to that next level, namsayin?

In Boxing, Tyson never preyed on the weak, he actually preyed on guys bigger than him. But you get what I'm saying right?

And definitely watch A Christmas Story this Christmas.

We just have 2 definitions of bullies. I would say you're talking about thugs and goons. Bullies to me tend to be punks usually over compensating. That's my own made up definition though.
And to me anybody with less heart is weaker than you. And Tyson last to everybody with More heart

This is the fantasy fight that I always wanted to see *THE MOST*, but IT never happened.
It probably would have been an ugly, messy affair, but the sheer power and tenacity of both those guys would have been a spectacle. Might have been the heavyweight equal to Hagler/Hearns, but we'll never know.

            In their prime:
Tyson Strengths - All around power either hand, better footwork, better head movement.
Weaknesses- Has been stopped, mental focus wavered at times, known to nip ears.

Tua Strengths - Better left hook, better chin, late fight KO power.
Weaknesses - Slow, one dimensional, no jab,......did I say slow?

Based on "speed beats power" equation Iron Mike wins.
Early KO either way, it would not have went the distance.

once someone fights tyson back, tyson changes. and believe me, tua would hit tyson back.

tua via devastating 7th rd sleep.

Tough one on paper if you're talking primes, but Tyson was faster, stronger, much better defense and far superior Boxing skills. Tua had a great chin but so did Tyson and he wouldn't have had to be as cautious as say, Lennox Lewis was with Tua. Tua would have been stopped in 8 after taking a career ending beating.

Mike Tyson by either decision or late stoppage. The only area where David Tua had the advantage over Mike Tyson was stamina. Otherwise, Mike Tyson was either superior in every other department or they were both equal.

Mike Tyson can definitely be overrated. However, he can also be extremely underrated too by some, as is the case here. Of course there are boxers that could've been favorites to beat any version of Mike Tyson (although there's not too many of them), but David Tua simply wasn't one of them.
