Tua took a younger Lennox Lewis the distance and ate everything he got. Tyson couldn't.

Tua would never get stopped by Evander Holyfield. Tyson did.

Could Buster Douglas stop Tua in his prime? i don't think so.
I agree. Tyson is very overrated. I wouldn't favor him against Vlad, Wlayd, Haye, Wilder, and Joshua

Its a myth that Mike Tyson was a quitter, the images of him scrambling around on the floor looking for his mouth piece against Buster Douglas! And just look at the beating Lennox Lewis had to give him, in order to put him away! (Mike Tyson was a instinctive fighter, when pressured you ether fight or flight! Mike Tyson always fought back! Always!)...

Tyson that fought Holyfield was coming off a 5 year prison sentence. Floyd did like 3 months and was writing the judge letters because of the conditions.

Tysons prime was the Douglass fight despite the outside the ring distractions coming in. A fight in which he actually beat Douglass had it not been for the 12 -13 second count.

Tyson vs Holyfield 1991 = Tyson by destruction

Tyson vs Lennox was not prime Tyson.

Just look at Tysons weight. He normally never came in over 220-225. Mike was like 234... He was big and slow

Prime Mike was big and fast and very destructive at the same time

Tua has always been a plodder. There were similarities with Tua and Mike, but Tua was always known as a poor man's Tyson

Almost like Broner, Berto and Joan Guzman being a poor man's Floyd

Michael Douglas(a bum of the highest order) knocked Tyson's eyes to the back of his head in his prime.

he's a front runner. he does not have a good gas tank and he breaks down down the stretch. whether he has heart or no doesn't matter.

when tyson was in a war like tua was vs ibeabuchi. he gets stopped every single time.

tua was coming on strong late against ibeabuchi breaking the heavyweight compubox #'s. his durabiilty is absolutely insane. imo he beat ike. Ike also was never the same since that night. Tua knocked some screws loose.

Razor Ruddock I & II where sustain wars! And Mike Tyson kept on coming (Against one of the biggest heavyweight hitters of the 90's!) Its a myth that he was a quitter! Listen I like David Tua, and a fight between him and Mike Tyson would be very exciting! But Mike Tyson would just get to David Tua too often, because of his superior speed! (And also people need to take into account Mike Tyson's defense, when a Prime Mike Tyson did not want to get hit? He was not hit 90's of the time! David Tua's best chance is to go to the body hard, because I highly doubt he will be catching Mike Tyson often with his left Hook! Still a great fight!)...

No disrespect Lopez, but you're watching (and quoting) too many movies. Seems like since A Christmas Story came out that quote surfaced. The bullies I know never check out when someone stands up to them. They actually turn up the volume because you're playing into their hands --- thats what they want.
