    Mike Tyson vs. David Tua

Who would have won? Both had power but Tua wasn't a quitter.

tua had a fantastic chin and good stamina for a power puncher. tyson had a very good chin himself. you have to take prime tyson. he was just a better fighter.

Tyson was superior to Tua in every department. I can't think of anything Tua was better at.

This is one of my dream fantasy fights. It would've been toe to toe action from round 1 and I want to think Tyson would be the first fighter to stop Tua. I still wonder if Tyson would lose some confidence and get frustrated if Tua was be able to take his punches and continue to come forward. A great match-up that should've happened in the late 90s.

Tyson for me but who cares. This would be all out war. Its only the best version of tyson that would win this one. Anything less than that and tua would make him quit.

I don't think Tyson was a bad quitter but he did have some quit in him. He had to take a beating for the quit to come out. I don't think Tua would be able to give him a beating. Tyson was quite capable of going the full distance and did so numerous times. Prime against prime Tyson was faster and more skilled than Tua and would beat him on points or by KO in my opinion. Tua had a great chin but he never faced a boxer with the combination of great power and fast accurate combinations that Tyson had in his prime. Tyson is a legend while Tua is not. Tyson was the heavyweight champion of the world at age 20 and won many world title fights. Tua can't come close to matching Tyson's record.

Tyson was the typical school yard bully type. He just mentally checked out if some one stood up to him. But he had tremendous heart and courage he gave up size advantage almost every time he stepped in the ring

Forget prime against prime. Let's make the fight in the late 90s when the fight could've happened. Tyson vs Tua in 98-99 who wins?

Tyson is not superior to Tua in every department.

He's not as tough and durable as Tua

and his stamina is not as good as Tua's (He's got many KO's in late rounds including 12th round)

Those 2 factors alone are huge in a fight with a front runner like Tyson. Tua can take what Tyson' has to dish early. However if the fight is in the 10th or 11th and Tua is still swinging power. He could potentially stop Tyson.

I'd bet Tua heads up to be honest.

their toughness can easily be measured btw.

Tua took a younger Lennox Lewis the distance and ate everything he got. Tyson couldn't.

Tua would never get stopped by Evander Holyfield. Tyson did.

Could Buster Douglas stop Tua in his prime? i don't think so.
