Super Heavyweight have been discussed on this forum before and many was all for it. I would be OK with that especially when you now have fighters like Jarrell Miller who are 300+lbs Fight Night. You did see how his weight is a huge advantage vs Gerald Washington who is not a small man. Miller walked through all of his punches. 250 and a Above for Super Heavy I would have ZERO problem with that.
I think problem that most have is that it is a Belt Organization trying to do it and we all know it is all about Fees for them! This should be done by the Athletic Commission not a Belt Organization.Comment

Co-sign the f#ck outta this.
I don't think people really realize there are 9 of the f#cking 17 divisions between 105-135. 30lbs carry more than half of the divisions in boxing. And according to boxrec many of those 9 divisions are the least populated divisions in boxing.Comment

How many HW's are under 220??? Look at Mike Perez, he went from 240 to 200 when he got in shape. This is unnecessary. The few "small" HW's out there could get down to 200 if they want, but the money is at HW and would remain at super HW if they made this move. If anything this would dilute the fantastic CW division by bringing some of those bigger guys up a weight. All the HW's nowadays weight at least 230, they are all big dudes. Just leave it as isComment

Sometimes one thinks the WBC or whomever just sit around in a room and think 'in which other ways can we really damage the sport of boxing and drive it to extinction?'. The F word is more appropriate but yeah, just ridiculous to add more rubbish to boxing, whom so few people watch anyway, maybe once or twice a year, from the general public.Comment
