That can't be Atlas' score and he couldn't have given the fight to Canelo. Didn't he go off about Byrd's score card? They're identical!

Ms. Byrd is supposed to be an expert, and we all saw how that ended. One has to wonder what qualifies someone to be a judge in the first place? Take a course, get a license, and wait for an opening to come up with your respective state athletic commission. This is where things get dicey. The relationship between state athletic commissions and who gets the nod to be a judge, especially for big fights. No doubt there is some favoritism and hooking up friends taking place. Money exchanging hands behind closed doors.

As for some of those "experts" you listed, I don't count glorified bloggers from boxing websites or search engines who claim to be boxing writers as credible sources or judges. That doesn't mean they are wrong or uninformed, but it doesn't qualify them any more than the next boxing fan. Anyone can have a bias, and it is often difficult to score a fight objectively if your favorite fighter is competing. Or, if you have friends in the industry such as managers or promoters who have a fighter on the card. Corruption will always be a part of the sport.

So you have a list showing around 37 people saying Golovkin won, 7 saying Canelo won, and the rest calling a draw--- and you think this takes away from the fact that the majority of professionals and boxing savy individuals had the fight for GGG?

If we added boxers to this list, you'd have an even wider margin. Yeah, the fight was somewhat close, but it wasn't like the Jacobs fight which was razor thin. This fight was, IMO., pretty clear cut if you took bias aside and stopped watching one fighter but both.

Out of 65 boxing experts, 43 (66%) watched Canelo win, draw or lose for 1 single round (113-115), wich means we had a very close fight.

PD: There is a list of experts running around, with a lot of MMA and wrestling commenters, and also many former or active professional boxing fighters, i decided to include in this list, only the true BOXING experts, people with a lot of years in the sport and focused on boxing.

Some of these so called experts are so out of touch with what is actually happening in the Boxing ring that you just have to ignore every thing they're telling you during commentary on it.

Atlas is actually terrible for boxing because he keeps crying ROBBERY and CORRUPTION at close fights like Canelo-GGG and Pac-Horn.
