There's no such thing as a great human being. All human beings have character flaws, imperfect and are prone to making mistakes especially when under pressure or backed into a corner.

For example: Someone else's strength just might be someone else's moral failing and someone else's moral failing just might be someone else's strength.

Boxing is a dirty game. It’s a very short list. Even the guys people always thought were “good people” like DLH, Mosley and Pacquiao have been badly exposed. Also SRL admitted to being deeply flawed in his book.

Of the boxers I've met and had conversations with Juan Manuel Marquez, Felix Trinidad and Ray Mancini were awesome and very nice people to everyone. Don't know them personally though but would be surprised to hear they were ****s. Diego Corrales was cool too but obviously had problems with beating his wife.

Most boxers are generally very nice and receptive to fans though.

It’s very hard to say since we don’t know them personally. A lot of bad people can seem good just like good people can seem bad. Very hard to know for sure.

Roy Jones Jr... Guy never did drugs or drank, as far as I know never went to prison/beat on women... Active and helpful member of the boxing community...seems like all around nice guy but a beast in the ring... An even greater athlete than Floyd Mayweather, but with a much more humble personality.

Manny pacquiao... Had a problem with ********, but as far as I know no women beating/prison... Another very likeable guy like Roy...

Rigondeaux - for such an amazing talent, a very low key guy, seems very humble

              Keith Thurman
              Lomachenko
              Errol Spence
              Danny Jacobs
              Shawn Porter

              the list goes on
There's an biography about Rigo and it kinda talks about how he left him family in Cuba and doesn't talk to them and has like a new girlfriend up here. Obviously I don't know the full story there but it kind of painted him in a bad light from what I remember.

You tell us. You're the one raising the question. Ali was a racist, but lots of people think he was a great man.

I need your help. Can you find out if these quotations were really from Dempsey. I mean, somehow they were attributed to him. Let me know.

When Louis lost to the **** backed Max Schmeling, Dempsey declared it "a triumph of white over black, the finest thing to happen to boxing in a long time". When Greb lost the middleweight title to Tiger Flowers, Dempsey stated "I dont know why Greb gave that ni@@er a shot anyway".
You must be an expert on Dempsey. Can you help shed light on this?!
