All this time, I was blaming Main Events! Barerra must be smoking crack! Kovalev doesn't draw big numbers, so how are you going to get paid? Which LHW is a big draw at the box office? Even Ward was not a big draw at the box office, and he retired, so where is Barerra going to get a big pay day? So now you have no title shot, and you're not fighting a top 5 LHW! Hold that!

I get where he's coming from but sometimes you gotta bet on yourself. Nothing is guaranteed when you bet on yourself but the reward is high.

A win now over Kovalev would be bigger than a win over any of the other title holders sans Stevenson but you're not getting that fight. And your promoter sucks so you gotta take risks

I'm trying to figure out which fighter Barerra thinks will bring in more money than Kovalev? He knows Stevenson is fighting Alvarez, and Ward is retired, not to mention he already turned down an opportunity to fight Beterbiev, so where does he get 500K?

Didn't know there were that many promoters on Bscene... main events gave Bivol and unproven prospect a shot at the WBA title in his next fight against an unknown opponent...Barrera has been on fire for short $$... He needs to be compensated b4 Haymon or top Rank scoop him up and compensate him with $ and meaningful fights...he is deserving !
