webster dictionary defines cheating as; A deception in which one benefits.

Nobody here is being decieved, and it is within the rules. Therefore, it doesn't matter if Cotto comes in at 200 the night of the fight, as long as he makes weight at 1pm the day prior.
Paulie is being decieved. You cant pull out rules when you talk about boxing because it doesnt mean ****. We have no uniform commison like the other sports but does it make it ok to do sneaky **** just because you can get away with it.

Everyone has it at 5 and like I said, if someone made it at 9 then Cotto would be bitchin much worse then Paulie

DLT is the biggest crybaby on the forums. He's always talking about how Floyd is looked down upon and all this bias ****. DLT, Floyd has taken on a bunch of SCRUBS the past 4 years, and he's "p4p" champ. He's a joker.

It probably wouldn't make that much of a difference(with regards to the outcome), but it's just not right IMO. Cotto weighed 157 during the Corley fight and he didn't even step in the unofficial scale during the Torres fight.

I can't blame Malignaggi camp for protesting.
Yeah and Chop Chop weighted like 143-144 at fight night, maybe he was the one in the wrong weight div...

cotto is def trying to get an advantage, top rank's finger prints are all over this one. it's bs., why not weigh them in today so cotto can come in the ring at 175

Yeah but we all know that Cotto is struggling. He's been here for a long time and has always been big and I suspect thats why they have made it at 1 because they may not be feeling comfortable with his weight. You say smaller but judging by this I bet he weighs in at 140 on the dot and maybe have to weigh in twice.

Also I just dont think its a punk move for Paulie's manager to talk about the safety thing. Paulie is not scared of Cotto or else he wouldnt have been begging for the fight but everyone knows what happened with Chico. Chico is definatly not scared of Castillo and won the 1st fight but with a bigger Castillo he got killed.

Cotto wont be overweight during the weigh in but can get alot more weight during those 4 hours

I never heard of it being a rule that the weight in has to be at 5.Is it? All ive seen is that its "customary",to make it at five.So wtf?

Anyways, the criticism for cotto should really be reserved for the actual night of the fight,if he comes in huge.

To be fair,Maybe arum knows something we dont, maybe cottos been struggling more than ever to make wieght, but Im just guessing he dosent want a repeat of what happened with castillo ,becuase so far I havent heard any reason why the time was chaged.
