Borikua, you gotta admit that it matters. I know you dont want any excuses but this is a big blow.

My question to all of you is that if it doesnt matter then why was the time put at 1? If everyone knows that Cotto will kill him no matter what then why not have the weigh in at 5?

People are on here trying to act like Cotto is like Floyd and will only gain 5 pounds. Cotto can come in at over 160. Not only weight but now he has way more energy with that time.

Its funny how when Cotto struggles then people are quicked to point out that he is just so drained but now he gets extra time and that doesnt matter? I guess it only matters when it helps Cotto, right?

If it is within the rules it is not cheating, that is what the thread is implying...

webster dictionary defines cheating as; A deception in which one benefits.

Nobody here is being decieved, and it is within the rules. Therefore, it doesn't matter if Cotto comes in at 200 the night of the fight, as long as he makes weight at 1pm the day prior.

You know, I was enjoying this conversation... in the other thread... you know, the one that DLT read and posted in before deciding to create this one, for some reason ... and we wonder why we have so many duplicate threads.

Coming from a Cotto fan (and I'm watching the fight LIVE @ MSG btw), I gotta say this is definitely an advantage for Miguel.

It probably wouldn't make that much of a difference(with regards to the outcome), but it's just not right IMO. Cotto weighed 157 during the Corley fight and he didn't even step in the unofficial scale during the Torres fight.

I can't blame Malignaggi camp for protesting.

sometimes when you have alot of post then it can be lost in the sauce. All the post in the other thread were all pretty much the same and agreed with Cotto so I thought it was ok to make a different thread

Thats all Im saying. Cotto could still kill him and might wouldve killed him anyway but people try to act like this doesnt matter and that Paulie is being a ***** when its not true. The is a big advantage

I don't think it will matter, we don't really know who decides the time of the weigh-in so chill out. And from what I've heard he will come as light as he can to fight Pauli.

I understand your point, and I wasn't trying to flame. But new points can be brought up in the same old threads. And for people who don't want to pile through pages, they can go to options, stop loading avatars and signatures to save bandwidth and choose to load as many as 40 posts per page.
