    Cotto Trying to Cheat?

You guys are being so immature about this. This is a big fight and this gives one guy a huge advantage. If a weigh in is always at 5 then why should this be at 1? Most of you are just joking because you are Cotto fans or want him to win but this sucks and its completely unfair.

Thats like giving a guy a double advantage. Really Cotto shouldnt even be allowed to fight these guys at 140 because he is so big, but atleast you have a certain "only" have a certain amount of time to get your energy and strength back. Now this gives Cotto 2 advantages of with having him being a much bigger guy and he gets the extra time to recooperate. This is much bigger then you guys are making it out to be and I think it can seriously be a differnce in winning or losing.

If Floyd was fighting Cotto and his team surprised Cotto by making the weigh in at 9pm, which is 4 hours later then Cotto's team would be going crazy and alot of you fans would be bitchin and saying that Floyd is scared and trying to cheat. I bet anything that Cotto's team would seriously threatend to cancle the fight if Floyd did that.

Its the same thing guys and this is much serious then you guys are making it out to be.

People who ask is 4 hours really that much, must dont know boxing because it takes alot out of these big guys to make the weight and now you give them extra time to recooperate and gain weight. Its a double advantage and it sucks.

Big Poppa just made the thread yesterday talking about how the rules in boxing should be changed because its unfair for these big guys to be fighting at these smaller weights and coming into the ring much bigger then there opponent. Its a huge advantage and like I said, this makes it a double advantage.

Arum and Cotto's handlers know they can get away with it because Paulie is a unknown no name but this **** wouldnt be allowed against any top fighter and shouldnt be allowed here. The NY Commision always tries to act like there so big and bad but wont step in when a big name star is trying to cheat on the weekend end of the PR Parade.

My question to all of you is that if it doesnt matter then why was the time put at 1? If everyone knows that Cotto will kill him no matter what then why not have the weigh in at 5?

People are on here trying to act like Cotto is like Floyd and will only gain 5 pounds. Cotto can come in at over 160. Not only weight but now he has way more energy with that time.

Its funny how when Cotto struggles then people are quicked to point out that he is just so drained but now he gets extra time and that doesnt matter? I guess it only matters when it helps Cotto, right?

Im sure that If there was a rule that stated that the weigh in must be at 5pm or later, the weigh in would be at 5pm.

But since that rule is not in place, the weigh in will be at 1, Team Paulie is just looking for an excuse once he gets knocked out.

STFU clown. The point wasnt being made about Floyd. I just picked Floyd because he is the smallest guy around those divisions who also has a big name. No one would care much if I said Hatton because he puts on alot of weight also.

Not Cotto but his team and if you think differently then your insane because if it wasnt his team and Paulie got upset, then dont you think they would easily change the time to 5pm?

How many big fights have been in NY and how many times have the weigh in been at 1? Never

As much as I like the magic man I still think he'd lose even, if the weigh in was at 5.

But why the change from the norm. Cotto can gain some serious weight in those few hours...
