If Canelo somehow fixes his stamina. Good luck on that one. He still has some problems not related to stamina. Its not only that he got tired it's a reflex action. It probably worked for him in past fights where he could fight effectively off the ropes. Now it's kind of an ingrained response. He seems to hold Mayweather in high esteem so its possible he's trying be like him. Mayweather is levels above him and it won't work for Canelo the way it worked for Mayweather. Golovkin made mistakes in this fight also but to me he clearly won.

he was painted as a stone cold killer who could beat anyone from 154-168
Are you for real?? Its a fanbase. That's what fans do for crying out loud. You sound shocked to discover this. Fan... Fanatic... Get it. There are a lot of fighters that have emotional fan bases. Its nothing shocking or unique to Golovkin or a one time thing that's never going to happen again. Put on your big boy pants and face reality.
oh, I did.....
what I saw was a very good middleweight with limitations, who was being very well managed/matched

And whose debut in the US was contracted to be Pirog but Dmitriy got injured. Stop with this careful matchmaking bs. It's easy to criticise him now why at 35 yo he doesn't destroy everyone like a killer machine. DuhComment

Not sure if either fighter at this point has what it takes to make changes to their game. I'm certainly looking forward to the rematch. I won't get into the what if game. To many times the fighters let us down by doing the complete opposite.Comment

I found it strange that golovkin looked sharper quicker footwork in the open workout before the fight he was moving and punching hell of a lot quicker I think making 160 is detrimental at this stage of his career I'd like the rematch at 164 nelos weight for the chavez fight so dela hoya cant talk wet and say its too heavy for my fighter. Whats your thoughts mate?Comment
