so yea, what was your point again ?
look, the very best opponent for a guy who is attempting to establish himself on the world stage..... is a former champ who has clearly faded
FACT: there is no question about that, and boxing has always worked that way
so..... back in 2012/2013, when Tom Loeffler was giving a radio interview, he was asked about Sergio Mora..... which was a clear no-brainer.....
Mora was perfect, an ideal opponent.....
so, after Tom finished coughing up his wheaties long enough to stutter/stammer his way through more than HALF-A-DOZEN ridiculous excuses to kill any talk of that fight..... it was clearly obvious that Golovkin still had his training wheels on
FACT: just like with Pacquiao and the blood tests, we needed 1 genuine reason..... the only reason why both of those parties furnished half-a-dozen silly (childish) excuses..... is because they did not have 1 genuine reason
surprise surprise...... Golovkin passed, and fought someone worse
Mora is a mover/spoiler who is notoriously difficult to look good against, he proved by stinking out the joint with Mosley..... even though Mora had faded, they did not need that fight.....
they did not want to risk looking bad, failing to put Mora away..... or, worse
so yea..... " well-managed "
Lara..... another mover/spoiler who is notoriously difficult to look good against
Ward..... another mover/spoiler who is notoriously difficult to look good against
" well-managed "
Q. why the fk did Mr " anyone from 154-168 " totally refuse to negotiate on weight with his best possible payday at that point in time, Miguel Cotto ?
that money and exposure was HUGE..... that is EXACTLY what Golovkin needed at that point, any other fighter would have cut off one of their fingers for that opportunity
A. because.....
1) all of that " 154-168 " talk, was utter bullshht
2) at catchweight, which Golovkin would be required to make, Cotto was knocking out the same fools he was knocking out
they did not want to take the risk
and you guys think he really wanted to fight Ward LMAO
