Nobody's crying for Ward, if he comes back, he won't get the DelaHoya or the Mayweather comeback payday. His duck will always be remembered.
Ward brought up simple reasons for his retirement, to avoid the flow of questions; the less you say, the better it is.
      There's an order for everything.
But Virgil Hunter thought he was smart to put on some more on Stevenson. Instead, he put his own foot in his mouth, just for talking too much. Ward was about to get away with his lie, but Hunter just couldn't shut up.
All Hunter boxers are losing, Ward was the only one winning with his own dirty style, nothing related to Hunter's training.
With his misjudgment, it's now clear Hunter's really stressed out, he's afraid about what's next for him, he will lose all his boxers (khan, Berto, ect...), medias will start to say Ward technics weren't the product of Hunter. By checking Hunter resume, they will dig out how bad a trainer he really was.
Who make pad with sticks, WHO?
As a trainer, if your hands hurt or if you afraid it hurts, do something else. Instead of taking money cuts out of the purse of the known boxers you have in your gym, especially when you already aware they'll lose.
Unfortunately he'll start back as a boxing amateur trainer in "Kings Gym" wearing his babyboy unsuccessful brand...
U must've just finished jerking off, cause clearly there was no blood or oxygen in your brain when u composed this pile of sh.t !

When a Ward/ggg fight was a real possibility (not when Ward was injured, not when Ward was in his legal battles) team ggg (both Leoffler and Sanchez) made it clear that it could only happen at 164. They knew Ward would be hard pressed to make 168 and 164 was out of the question. They could act like they wanted the fight without having to fight Ward. This after approving 168 for both Froch and Chavez Jr. Clear duck by team ggg.

After this fell apart, Ward moved up to fight the #1 lightheavy in the perceived killer Kovalev and ggg drug the #3 or #4 (Brooks) welterweight up not one but two weight classes for a fight. So who was trying to fight hard competition and who wasn't?

No they would rather cry about him retiring undefeated.

When is Virgil Hunter ever gonna retire??? When his fighters are in a difficult spot he rarely gives detail on what to do to overcome. He's always asking them questions "do you wanna win? Well act like it" or he'll say "Stop letting him hit you, You getting hit too much now go in there and stop letting him hit you" lol I be thinking I could have told him that info how about giving him a better strategy lol... his fighters win because they are good not because of Virgil.

The only fight I feel he had left and the one I really wanted to see was against Adonis Stevenson... beat Adonis Stevenson unify the entire Division and then retire would have been a legit way to peace out.

Hilarious IMO how Hunter just keeps inserting himself into the picture regarding Ward. I know he was Ward's trainer, forever I think, but I mean geez it sure seems weird Hunter acting like he's steering the ship. Ward would definitely come back for the right $$. Don't doubt that for a minute.
