    Ward had a relatively unspectacular resume until he suddenly entered that two year Super Six like gangbusters, then he took it easy for two years untl he fought Edwin Rodriguez, then took off for two years until Barrea and Kovalev and now hes retiring under some very shady circumstances. These two year cycles indicate he'll come back in a couple years

        Guy just retired a few days ago no one is coming up with a lure to hook him on yet. And lets not forget this is Ward we are talking about. Ward mighta had the most people happy with his retirement then any fighter his age nor younger. It't gonna take awhile before anyone even wants to start building that lure that'll hook Ward.

          Ward "retired" because he wanted to be begged to stay. Plain and simple. He's probably hoping/expecting to get a larger deal soon via someone pleading with him to return. It's a simple and tried-and-true tactic and it's most likely what Ward is doing.
