    TUE for Kingkong Ortiz

Just give the man an after-the fact TUE.
Every knowledgeable person on PEDs knows what he tested for isnt really taken to enhance performance.

I'm not sure why you're bothering to point that out - we already know that neither hydrochlorothiazide or chlorothiazide are taken to enhance performance, they're banned because of their use as masking agents.

        They. Are. Banned. Masking. Agents.

Banned. B-A-N-N-E-D. They're two of the most commonly used masking agents in PED cycles.

If you own a gun illegally, you don't need to shoot someone to validate owning that gun illegally.

Next time you're going to be a condescending twat, aim it in a direction that matters.

You're right about that, BUT as others have said its a masking agent for substances that do enhance your performance & thats why its on the banned substance list & likely why he didn't mention it on his testing papers when VADA gave them to him. If this was all on the up & up Ortiz would have written this down & even further down the rabbit hole if this was for a legit medical condition he'd have talked to his doctor about putting him on a product that helps him with his medical condition + isn't on the banned substance list.

The guy is legit guilty or at best he's guilty of ******ity for being a past PED user who didn't take better measures to insure he didn't ingest another banned substance. Its on him not on Wilder, not on VADA, not on the WBC, not on a commission or anyone or anything else. This is all him & he'll serve his 1 or 2 year suspension for this crime of sports or ******ity all by himself to if there is any justice. Or these cats trying to stop banned substances in boxing need to just stop trying & quit bsing with how little they do to abusers.

No, that's not entirely accurate! What he took is sometimes used as a masking agent in order to potentially cleanse and rinse out all of the impurities from the blood stream by p1ssing them out through the kidneys so one can test clean. The more one takes a diuretic blood pressure (water pill) and p1sses, the cleaner the system would be and it's more likely than not that whatever the banned or illegal substance that was once inside the body would go undetected.

Best case scenario is that Ortiz is incredibly ****** not to disclose what he was taking. But then you also have to believe that for some reason he kept it a secret from his entire team, or that he told them and all of them were also incredibly ****** in not disclosing it. Let's check to see whether or not they constantly trip and fall over at the next press conference, because unless they're too ******ed to even tie their shoelaces I'm not buying the "we dumb doe" excuse.

Any other shady motherfukers out there know how this kind of game is played. If you want to get away with something, sometimes you just gotta do it and hope no-one notices. Then if someone does notice you act like "oh shit, I didn't realise that wasn't allowed, don't worry though, honest mistake, won't happen again, let's just continue like it never happened"

Yup it is masking agent. But he does have a legit prescription for those. They can easily contact his doctor to validate his hypertension claims.
