The winner is sure to make the p4p list. It's a pretty stacked tournament.
SMW tourney, not so much

Usyk just in my top 10, so depending on types of performances (looked laboured against an ancient Huck) and what happens with other fighters, he might move up a place or two.

Yeah i agree.
CW is one of the best divisions, and this tournament has them all.
Looking at Usyk in particular. He's in the P4P list discussion now IMO. He's a skilled guy.
If he was to add Briedis and Gassiev/Dorticos to his resume, that's impressive.

You are appalling when it comes to rating Golovkin but have the audacity to rank Thurman and Spence over GGg..
And this is coming from a Thurman and GGG fan..
Make a case for your rating Scottie..
BTW, This is my top 5 p4p post Ward..
Crawford
GGG
Loma
Thurman
Canelo
Canelo's defence, counter punching and offence was as good as Golovkin's, his power however is not on par, Golovkin is evidently the the more powerful of the two, I don't see that as a justification to rank someone as high as another guy more skilled, I do somewhat feel Golovkin has superior footwork to some of the lower half of the top ten, Canelo included so I guess he's above Canelo with Canelo closely matching him coming in tightly behind him.
Look at the shots Spence shipped against Brook in comparison to Golovkin, as I said before Golovkin obviously has more power than Canelo and Spence but the pound for pound is not ranked on who has the most power, it goes by skill, resume, talent, footwork, defence, offence... we don't need to get into this as we're both aware.
Golovkin for me has slipped in his last two fights, coincidently has he has risen his level of opponent, his last three performances are that of the no.1 guy ? No, absolutely not. I had Golovkin top four after and before Brook, after Jacobs who I felt beat GGG top 6, after Canelo top 8. Kovalev slipped places when he first loss, and slid out completely upon losing his will to fight against Ward the second time, for me those two were top two even so after the first fight I saw no daylight between the two, in seperable, for me Kovalev really should still be included, lets see how he bounces back first though.
Thurman I hold in high regard as Spence and actually give the edge against Errol when they face each other. He's deserving of being up their amongst the elite, the guy is infinity more skilled than Golovkin.

I don't know man. After looking at your post, I'd put Usyk above all of them. He's already on my list based on skill alone. If he wins this whole tournament, he's the best in boxing, bar none.
The guy is basically a heavyweight moving like a lightweight, and has special effects. He needs to work on his stamina and, more importantly, stop admiring his own work too much until the conclusion of the bout.
I'm picking him to win this prize.
War Usyk!

In the aftermath it's evident I overrated GGG and underrated Canelo, or simply both really aren't elite. I don't feel Canelo is was or will ever be elite, I did feel Golovkin was, that time has passed, he's spent too long padding his record and resume waiting to cash out against Canelo.

We'll have to agree to disagree and I don't think you need a reason.. but just because you judged a fight, I'll let this out.. I had GGG winning against Jacobs and Canelo and Ward losing the first fight with Kovalev but won the rematch for sure which warranted #1 but between Crawford and GGG it's a neck to neck..
Top 3 has to be Loma and just FYI Rigo has fought a bunch of bums after Donaire.. Thurman is above him in my book..
Spence barely makes it to p4p with just 1 great win, if that is the case we need to add AJ too in there.. at least 2 good wins and you can crack the slot in top 10
