      .
I'm real curious to see how Kovalev bounces back. People were calling him one of the greatest LHWs of all time (no me, but people) and they just couldn't envision him losing. Hell, some freaks still can't accept that he lost. I'm dying to find out if he can go back to utterly dominating. Especially now that we can some sharp competition rising up.

Opinions are what P4P is about though...
Just by definition, one can't "prove" who is P4P #1. We can speculate and provide opinions.

I'm not sure the winner has the right skin color to be that high up in the eyes of most here even though the cruiserweight tournament is much better than the super six in both format and quality of fighter.

Top 5 is tough either way. I guess we'll have to see how it plays out, but top 10 is minimum. Whoever wins (if it's controversy free) it's a huge achievement.

I don't think it has anything do with skin color. Usyk is unknown to fans. He'll soon receive his proper props.

I think there are a lot more decent people here than racists.

            Bump.

            Dorticos vs Gassiev
            Usyk vs Briedis

Before the tournament I was picking Briedis to win it but now he looks like the weakest of the semi-finalists. Either way, amazing tournament, loving it.

Usyk is damn skillful and Dorticos has that beautiful timing that a lot of Cubans seem to have.

For sure! Me personally, some boxers like Oleksandr Usyk for example, I may even have him in my top 3 or perhaps even number 1 if he becomes the champion of that tournament and goes on to accomplish other significant goals. He had become the cruiserweight champion with fewer bouts than any other cruisrweight champion in history, including needing less bouts than Evander Holyfield himself. Now if he goes on to accomplish a few more unique goals like that, such as becoming the champion of the Cruiserweight tournament and then becoming the undisputed best, I may have him top 3. If he can become a heavyweight champion, he would probably be number 1. Although that's just Usyk I'm arguing about.

The other cruiserweights don't either have other unique achievements, or have the potential to achieve as much unique goals to become the number 1 P4P. However, even then, I would still rank them very high in the P4P list if they win the tournament.
