Not that Wilder gets blamed, it's that he is so quick to pick an another opponent before even the situation clears up in less than 72 hours. Think about this, Ortiz was popped for medicinal drug. And then the, it isn't even clear if the drug was to cheat or just for his medicine. WBC reports it, Wilder quickly proclaims.
"HA! I TOLD YOU GUYS! DRUG CHEAT!" Without the assistance of evidence that Ortiz is actually taking steroids. And then in less than 48 hrs, they already have opponents lining up and saying even when the situation hasn't even YET TO BE determined and the quicklly announce. "FIGHTS CANCELLED WILDER VS LARRY THE GARBAGE COLLECTOR FOR DECEMBER #BOMBSQUAD #MOSTAVOIDED" without even giving a thought if Ortiz was actually clean or just in a bad position, and in a time span so quick.
he said he still wanted to fight him u guys are the ones who need to let the dust settle
Boxing has gone to **** because of the toxic fans. Instead of blaming the cheats, they go after the somewhat honest boxers. There are several examples of this. Salido vs Loma, Wilder vs Ortiz are just some of the countless examples.
He gets blamed because he's an American heavyweight; Especially a black one at that. There I said it! If these guys are so confident that Wilder is such a bum and paper champion then why do they cheat? Just beat his ass like a real man supposed to do without the use of doping or juicing.
because its a damn blood pressure tablet that the doctor has prescribed. Why would a doctor lie and risk his whole medical license?
History lesson.
Lamont Peterson got busted by VADA for synthetic T before the Khan rematch.
The synthetic T was administered by a legit doctor as a cure for low T levels.
The problem is that before he got busted, the testing was generic, where as close to the fight, it got more advanced looking for specific types of T discrepancies. It wasn't the T that busted him, it was the fact it was synthetic. DESPITE it being issued by a legit doctor. And Peterson was the one who requested the advanced testing. He's not that ******, he didn't know it'd get flagged.
Had Peterson asked for a TUE regardless, just in case, it likely would have been a non-issue.
That's what happened here. Ortiz's deal might be benign, but he needed to do the TUE.
