lil'Stomps you f'd up getting into the ethnic/racial game with me. First off I have no hate for Canelo. I think he's an excellent fighter and seems to be a decent man. I have no problem with anyone rooting for him because he's Mexican. I have rooted for Canelo in the past but against Golovkin I didn't. Golovkin has been my favorite fighter for several years now.

Here's the thing I don't need to legitimize myself as a real Mexican, which by the way I'm not anymore likely than you are. I'm Mexican-American. But unlike you I probably understand the difference. I understand what a real Mexican is and you aren't one punk. I know just by the fact that you were telling us how Cinco de Mayo is so f'n important for Mexicans. LOL! It ain't tool, any real Mexican knows that. Any Mexican who's actually lived in Mexico (me), anybody who kicks it with Mexicans (me) anyone who truly has a understanding of the history and culture (me).

My boxing fandom is more than rooting for anyone who is Mexican. Some of my favorite fighters have been Mexican, JMM for example, but I always root first how the guy fights and how they carry themselves, not if they happen to be born in the same huge ass country that my Grandparents were born. Again I got no hate for Canelo, but I'm not rooting for him in all cases just because he is Mexican. If that's how you role fine, that's not me and it doesn't make me a sell out or less Mexican than you.

I, like most non Latino people, could give a **** less about that holiday. Why should the rest of the boxing worlds schedule revolve around Mexican/Latino holidays. Cinco de Mayo is so overblown. It means more for people in the States than Mexicans. The day is about the equivalent to Columbus Day in Mexico. It actually might be less significant than that outside of Puebla. The fight being on Cinco de Mayo won't bring in any big difference in money. I don't disagree that Mexican Independence Day makes sense and I can see the economic benefit but this play on 5/5 I don't believe.

Whatever the case they'll fight when ever Canelo wants, he's the A side. I hope it is no later than then. I'd like to see Golovkin fight before that if that is the case.

The reality is the Crawford v Indongo undisputed fight very quickly dissolved (by the IBF) the elusive, romantic fan favourite warm fuzzy dream that is the undisputed champion.

It's sad, but there are too many belts, and the focus, particularly should be on utilising the enormous potential in the middleweight division.

There are so many enticing match-ups to be made, but they're not really coming through. The MW is stacked right now, and ought to be producing at least a fight every three months of substance.
