VADA is ran by Victor “Prison Rat” Conte. Anyone who isn’t sceptical of him and his testing needs to read about him. It’s a huge conflict of interest to have that guy giving these fighters “supplements” and then testing the same guys that are paying him.

I heard his daughters mother has a high ranking position at vada. She has a track record of setting up athletes for pay outs. She did it to Marian jones and some guy lance armstrong. So this woman told Ortiz to take the pills that Ortiz admitted to taking because of high blood pressure that was already on the banned list? hmmm. Clearly, someone didn't think to check the banned list before popping pills or relied on a "good excuse" when they got caught. It's like using a fake doctor's note if your boss asks for proof you were sick when you called out sick to just chill at home.

At the end of the day, it was Ortiz's actions that triggered this.

Seems like a lot of guys are still working with him, check out his company's twitter feed here seems like he still has a lot of clients. Tons of guys have worked with him in recent years. Ward, Khan, Donaire, Berto etc. Anyone who does looks bad, IMO.

If you're interested in knowing more about him i'd recommend listening to the episode of him on Joe Rogan's podcast. Some of the stories he tells are unbelievable and it's crazy how boxing just not only let him back in but also let the guy who supplied drugs test for them. It's like finding one of the worst fraudsters in the world and putting him in charge of a bank or a huge company. Here's a guy who developed lots of undetectable drugs and profited immensely from it, i'm convinced he's still cheating the system and helping people cheat. There's too much money for him to make, and he knows more about it than anyone.

Thread werent really about Ortiz/Wilder, more about VADA year long testing being a myth. See in another thread Ortiz may have being taking these since April, if he fails a test out of competition he has a bit of space for getting a fair shake. Same as Nery, the tainted meat. So he gets all his meat from all over the country? Can only be a few farmers he gets meat from, that stuff has to be in his system a lot longer if hes telling the truth, gets caught out of competition he has space for an arguement, after a fight theres really no benefit of doubt.
