Well his next fight isn't until Nov 4th either way, not like he can fight before then so what do you mean 'fight somebody'? He's going to on Nov 4th, and he just heard his opponent is a cheat after going through weeks of negotiating and paying Stiverne step-aside money. Seems reasonable he's allowed to whine just a little bit in the meantime considering the effort he's putting in.

Sure he's allowed to complain. It just that I'm not alone when I say he's playing the card past its expiration date IMO. And by 'fight somebody', I mean just that. Get Stiverne or Whyte signed if Ortiz DOESN'T have high blood pressure, or if VADA says no go, no matter whether he has it or not.

If that's it, then why is it a banned substance? Seems kinda strange. I mean, don't they make exceptions in a case like this? Just asking.

Still, kinda sux for all parties involved.

You're jumping to conclusions. IMO too many unanswered questions right now, but 4-5 weeks will be here in no time. So let em find out if Ortiz has or doesn't have high blood pressure. If he doesn't, get Stiverne or Whyte signed. If he does have it, VADA needs to chime in on their decision.... whether or not they even allow a fighter to fight on those prescribed meds.

        Lighten up, friend.

          • Does anybody know when the final decision about the status of this fight is supposed to be decided?

            • I had GGG winning by 3 rounds

              • I think Canelo won the first 3 rounds pretty easy but once he got tired in the 4th the fight changed and Golovkin just outworked him from there.

                  • Argh not again! Ortiz just couldn't stop it seems, Wilder would be so frustrated. Let's see how it plays out.

What's crazy about this whole VADA thing is that the website still has Ortiz on there for completing the testing before his fight against Bryant Jennings.
