He struggled with Juan Diaz, got outclassed by Brook, and lost to Thurman. Then you add an ugly, boorish style to that equation and you get a guy that people aren't excited to see.

He can only live off that pretty Malignaggi KO for so long.

I think you meant Joel Diaz here. But that fight was quite a while ago when Porter was still a prospect. He's not a major star but good enough to headline a show on Showtime.

He doesn't have any fans. That's why. He's always in good fights against top fighters but he himself is never the draw and can't headline unless he has a belt.

Me personally, I'm not a fan of his style of fighting at all. It's not the typical come forward throw punches, It's the UGLY kind of come forward sack the quarterback type of style. Honestly I hate it. He will never be in a good clean fight.

cant see how anybody could dislike porter he wants to be active he'll fight anyone and he aggressively brings the fight to you and tries to get knock outs. he's from another galaxy compared to the rest of the part time boxing club. pbc
