then he refuses to take the test. and the speculation begins that he is on roids and all of a sudden he can't get any knock outs. it's been 8 years since the rumors began and it's been 8 years since he stopped somebody.

    I don't believe in coincidences
its not about turning it down. its about what was said before that.

easy money, easy fight. one dimensional.

people never bought canelo fights with Floyd in mind

      it's apples and oranges.
so if pac fights canelo or conor next, its gonna flop because he lost to floyd already??

Do people call for a rematch of their fight? No. So maybe instead of your pro Manny theory, try looking at this more realistically.

Once Manny lost to Floyd his relevance IMO was going to be less given how he was marketed and promoted relative to Floyd. That wasn't the case for Canelo IMO.

Here's what we do know. Manny lost to Floyd and hasn't been relevant since. No one cared about who he fought after. He went from PPV to ESPN. From headlining in Vegas to a schoolteacher's hometown in Australia.

The evidence is in front of your face but you keep looking around, over and under it.

lets keep it real..they agreed to all of mayweather's terms sans the 0 days cutoff...

trust me if pac was a light hitting, chinny as amir khan fighter, the mayweathers would have made that fight in 2010..

Given the way Manny was being marketed by TR and HBO, it is likely a loss would have a different impact on Manny's career than it would canelo, given the differences in age, marketing strategy, and other factors I and others have pointed out.
you know you can have a debate without trying to put a poster down? it's not helping you with this just letting you kno, it actually makes you look more desperate LOL.

how did TR and HBO market pac's career?

Honestly they didnt need eachother. Both fought the same opponents & sold hella PPV's by doing so. I honestly think them not fighting boosted both of their careers. Pacquiao lost so much momentum when he lost against Bradley & JMM. Floyd's drawing power is built on him being undefeated. He isnt exciting at all. A loss for either of them would have affected their drawing power greatly IMO.

Even tho the fight happened 5 years too late its still the all time biggest fight in boxing.

Smart business move from both sides. ****** for boxing fans tho...

Sorry but that is the issue here. You are a one dimensional thinker. Not bright, incapable of looking at things from more than one perspective.

You created a false equivalence fallacy in the OP.

The difference has been explained to you. You are ignoring these points. So there is no point to continue.

May I suggest a poll as to what network airs Manny's next fight-ESPN2 or ESPNNews?

What the actual **** does that have to do with this:

A contract sent on Dec. 11, 2009, by Golden Boy Promotions on behalf of Mayweather to Top Rank on behalf of Pacquiao proposed a 50-50 financial split between the sides for a fight that would have been held March 13, 2010.

The eight-page agreement is so detailed that it indicates which of the two fighters would step onto the scale first at the weigh-in (Pacquiao), who would walk to the ring first (Pacquiao), who would be introduced first (Mayweather) and who had first choice of the locker room (Mayweather).

Yea, he was so scared that he signed a contract for a 50/50 split, and Pac's father said it was their fault the fight didn't happen.

Cool story, bro. Tell us more.
