Yes, obviously, but I'm just saying Wilder isn't much the first few rounds. He's stopped some cans early on, but this is a former Olympic boxer with a lot of experience. Not an elite in amateur at the very top levels, but still a very sound and smart fighter.

Hearn and Haymon need to make sure Joshua is there at ringside.

Wilder sparking Ortiz and then calling out Joshua to his face would be the greatest thing ever.

How can a pro fighter be learning on the job after 35 fights or so? That's not a good explanation from those fans.

Wilder looked clumsy in his fight against Szpilka and was reaching for his target badly for more than four rounds up until that KO.

He had Savon on top, still he is a Panam Gold Medallist. Just like Milian before him when Stevenson was in his prime.

Stiverne was his first real test.

Wilder only had 2 years total boxing experience before turning pro. 35 wins, 34 KO's, his style itself makes it hard to learn when you can just KO guys with 1 punch.

Even a guy like Wlad was learning and getting better 50+ wins into his career.

Wilder looked clumsy in his fight against Szpilka and was reaching for his target badly for more than four rounds up until that KO.
Szpilka was an awkward match up for Wilder, southpaw, very mobile with constant movement, made himself a very small target staying around Wilder's waist.

Ortiz possesses a different skill set, much more dangerous, massive 84" reach which could catch Wilder or could be countered, much more stationary type fighter.

It'll be interesting to see who comes forward, Ortiz usually walks guys down and lights them up on the ropes with short power shots but will really have to reach to get to Wilder's head.
