Its very simple really: BJS can cash in by losing the belt to Canelo or GGG and then retire. He can't cash in and retire with Jacobs, but he will lose the belt - the only leverage he's got. He knows that. So, smart business move for Billy. Completely pathetic, of course, if you judge this from a position of what a true champion should do. I can't blame him for running from a fighter like Jacobs, talk about a mismatch I'd fear for Saunders life between him and Jacobs.
