Everyone says Canelo is a great champion, the idol of Mexico. The idol for what? For boxing? No. Or as a businessman? Right now, he looks like a businessman.”

Its very simple really: BJS can cash in by losing the belt to Canelo or GGG and then retire. He can't cash in and retire with Jacobs, but he will lose the belt - the only leverage he's got. He knows that. So, smart business move for Billy. Completely pathetic, of course, if you judge this from a position of what a true champion should do. But at what point was he a true champion anyway?

All pro boxing matches are business fights. The clue is in the word.

Are you really too dumb to understand that GGG signing to fight Eubank Jr - a top 10 MW - then accepting Brook as a replacement when Eubank pulled out was different to Canelo choosing Khan when GGG was ready and waiting to fight him?

All a ploy by Hearn to get excitement for a Jacobs and BJ fight

Now money runs and rules boxing and cash is King of the ring. If Khan could draw a huge payday for BJ so be it but glass jaw weak Khan isn't a contender. Jacobs in the UK is a nobody and a tough challenge for Saunders. Let the bullship games begin

GGG signed to fight Eubank Jr, who was a top 10 MW, on an Eddie Hearn show and fought Brook instead after he was brought in as a replacement by Hearn when Eubank lost his bottle and his pen.

Jacobs is also now being promoted by Eddie Hearn, who is a business rival and personal enemy of BJS's promoter, Frank Warren.

Yeah, because no one from 154 to 168 was available to fight GGG? Oh, the other excuse, "they all priced themselves out."

Boxing is only about the money generated. If BJ and Jacobs can sell out Wembley then it doesn't matter.

Saunders is holding out for a big money fight before some unknown takes his belt and he just becomes another member of the huge pool of nameless journeyman middleweights. I can't blame him for running from a fighter like Jacobs, talk about a mismatch I'd fear for Saunders life between him and Jacobs. Saunders won a title being at the right place at the right time you have to give him that but if it wasn't for the truckload of titles floating around these days we wouldn't be talking title fight and using his name in the conversation other than maybe sparring partner for...........
