Like I keep saying it's hard to take BJS seriously, especially if you live in the U.K. And follow the scene here.

The guy is talented though, good skills, quite slick, and overall I think he's very solid fighter, but 2 title defences in 2 years is unacceptable for me, and it seems he doesn't truly want to mix it with the best...there's legitimate competition in the division right now.

You can bet your life that Eddie Hearn will do a better job of publicising and promoting Jacobs than Haymon and DiBella ever did.

I think this is misguided. Jacobs got to where he is because they got him the GGG fight and he knocked out Quillin. That doesn't happen without those guys. He's already a thing in the sport now. You can't give anybody credit for a guy who already has a name. That's like trying to give Al credit for guys like Mikey Garcia. It's a false equivalency.

Eddie is just benefiting from that and smartly so. Jacobs is never going to sell tickets without a popular dance partner. This is all about HBO, GGG, Canelo, and his UK connections.

Don't underestimate BJS. He is bad but somehow he make his opponents look bad as well.
