Badou Jack scoffed at the notion that he's avoiding Dmitry Bivol. Jack told ESPN.com for a story posted Monday afternoon that he didn't give up his WBA world light heavyweight title Saturday because he doesn't want to fight the hard-hitting Bivol (11-0, 9 KOs). The former WBC super middleweight champion said he relinquished his version of the WBA's 175-pound championship as part of an agreement he made with the WBA before he fought then-champion Nathan Cleverly last month.

Kovalev-Jack for a vacant title would be great. HBO vs PBC, I know how much some fans on here obsess over that stuff. Plus Kovalev has been **** on by certain fans since the Ward fights, while Jack has been hyped up by certain fans. It would be a great way to see "who is who" at this point in the light heavyweight division, as GGG likes to say.

Yeah, it doesn't really add up. If Jack was told that, why would the WBA publicly state before the fight that the winner had to fight Bivol, and then after the fight order a purse bid for Jack-Bivol?

In his comments Jack talks as if there is something big in the works but then in the next sentence is just randomly name dropping as if he has nothing at all lined up and just hopes something develops.

It wouldn't surprise me if that cuntrag Yvon Michel is considering the next Stevenson opponent and just seeing who will accept the lowest lowball offer, Alvarez or Jack.
