The only thing that makes sense here is that he is ducking. I mean, obviously he fights and beats Bivol for the title then he gets to make the Stevenson fight even bigger because then it becomes a unification bout.

Also Stevenson is fighting Alvarez next anyway so his excuse that he wants the Stevenson fight next doesn't work at all. Stevenson fights Alvarez, he fights Bivol, and then they unify early next year, that makes way more sense than this crap he tryna feed us.
You don't know what duck means. Check my their resumes and get back to us after reality sets in.

Dude, I'm a Mayweather fan, I'm a Badou Jack, and I'm a Gervonta Davis fan, but that don't mean I'm on their **** like some of you seem to be.

The facts don't lie. Badou Jack has no credible reason for avoiding a title fight with Bivol. The fact is he pulled out of the fight and therefore avoided a fight with Bivol, while he has no other/better fight lined up. That is the definition of a duck.

I don't think he agreed to anything. What he's trying to convey is that the WBA made it clear the winner of the fight would have to fight Bivol next. He knew if he won the fight there was no way he's fighting a guy with 11 fights for peanuts; rather chase the bigger names. So it was pretty much understood he would vacate the title before the fight took place.

So you rather fight a guy with 11 fights, for peanuts, to keep an interim belt, rather than to fight a guy like Stevenson for possibly the biggest payday of your career?

Please understand boxers are humans too with a family to feed. They will ALWAYS do what's best for them financially. Interim belts become secondary to $$, especially when you have a chance to fight for the ACTUAL LINEAL TITLE, not the WBA interim one.

Jack isn't worried about Bivol.......let's be serious...

Jack has fought much stiffer competition than Bivol. He's a two division champion and Bivol couldn't beat Jack anyway. If he can get Adonis you take that fight in Canada because it's a huge payday or Kov is a good payday. Bivol brings nothing to the table financially and although Bivol has good fundamentals he hasn't shown anything special.

true slave strategy, avoid dangerous opponents until there damaged and hopefully defeated by somebody else first. Then have every advantage going into the fight and if thats not enough, survive 12 rounds and get the affirmative action decision regardless of what happened in the fight, eg: bradley vs pacquiao, mayweather vs castillo, de lay hoya vs mosley etc......

WTF do Floyd and Davis have to do with this? And if you think it is a duck so what, I don't. Bivol doesn't deserve his ranking period. Bivol's ranking shows the bogusness and hypocrisy of these ****ty title organizations. Bivol has "NO" name on his resume. None. At this point Jack wants big fights. I'm ok with him vacating.
