This isn't a personal attack on Ward at all, but when I look into my crystal ball I see Wlad being remembered as an ATG Heavyweight and Ward being essentially forgotten (despite having been arguably a top 3 ATG at 168).

Despite some great wins (even if you put the asterixes by them) Wards inactivity and lack of either what I like to call 'flash' or highlight reel KOs have combined to make him into a fighter whom even his most dedicated fans seem to struggle to get all that excited about. Shame really because he is an excellent fighter... but in 20 years the only folk who will ever speak about him will be the hardest of the hardcore guys in the history section.

It comes down to Wlad and Jones. Honestly, if that's the rules, that is ******ed. But Jones should just have to wait an extra year. That is his own fault for still fighting in 2017. Also, while RJJ was one of the most naturally gifted, freakishly athletic, impressive fighters to ever watch when he was in his prime. The problem is his choice of opponents while in his prime. It was horrible. Haters went crazy on Mayweather, but my God, he would have literally been publicly crucified on live t.v. if he fought the guys RJJ did. Mayweather and Ward have the best wins and the most quality wins. And honestly, maybe spending the last full decade of your career being the butt of jokes and getting ko'd by nobodies, maybe one should have to wait an extra year for being that ******.

Jones in prime up till 2003 went from middleweight to heavyweight winning titles undefeated except a DQ which he rematched and koed in 1st round.
Mayweather nobody can even say **** about.

It's pretty easy people. Ward was on P4P list for years and made it to #1. Klitschko was never viewed as the best fighter in the entire sport like Ward was. I think Klitschko had a brief period of 1-2 years on a top 10 list.

You might want to go back in time as Wlad was in top 2 or 3 pound for pound for years!! Ward has the weaker resume as well. Super six is what made his name. Froch was the only good fighter he faced really. Ward should have faced Joe C. That would have been a fight. Or even Bhop before Bernard was over 50 lol.
