GGG is only a 'thing' because Dmitry Pirog retired early!

I think Pirog showed the potential to be #1 in the division and I think he would have wrecked both Golovkin and Canelo. But, we'll never really know.

I don't think Pirog struggled with any one. He just didn't close the show sometimes against guys who just came to survive.

He was at his best when an opponent came to him, which is what GGG would have done the entire fight and it was the perfect style for Pirog to look Great against.

Yeah, Pirog was another dangerous opponent Golovkin ducked by signing to fight him - which caused Pirog to fuck his back up in training. Smh.

Pirog was a tall MW with unusually long arms. He fought Jacobs at the most opportune time. I still think Jacobs would have had a problem because of his size and length but I'm not sure the KO happens.

I think Golovkin is better because he also have the power to make up any of his flaws.
