definitely the truth. im 21 and i am hitting the gym around 5 am in the morning every day and i don't even need anything to start i just wake up and have the energy to grind hard for anything. a lot of people ive meet in the gym tell me they cant come earlier than like 1 because they just cant gather the energy to maintain it even though they live perfect lifestyles. and a lot of them are sorta struggling to have high intensity workouts, which relates to what golovkin said about his jacob training camp how he couldn't give it his all due to something.

      good point though dude.

Does anyone want to claim the so called "physical prime" Golovkin is better than the current Golovkin?

All you're doing is showing me how much of a handsome man Golovkin is.

Seriously he has slipped. I think the GGG of a few years ago would have KOed both Jacobs and Canelo. I think he is still the best middleweight in the world and will remain the best middleweight for 2 or 3 more years. Age is taking it's toll on him just as it does on every other old boxer.

That's a scary thing to think about...
That one day, I won't be able to do the same things I used to do with my body without any problem.
It's gonna be a rough awakening...
That must probably be one of the reason people have middle life crisis.

You nailed it, the midlife crisis is the last attempt to feel young again, to not feel your age. With medicine and chemists feeling that way is achievable but the problem is you feel that way mentally and the body will get you to that point on adrenaline and chemicals but the wear and tear is significant. You look at the average gym rat in his late 30s and early 40s and they take more shhh per day than my grandma. I have two brothers 20 years my junior who are hell bent on lifting weights, the first thing I tell them is don't get big, stay a medium athletic build and work on toning and stamina. Big is really hard to maintain later in life naturally.

Dude the truth is the mind wants but the body can't without help. That's why older boxers have considerably shorter camps. You ramp up over time and then ramp back down hoping the yielded results are in the mids of the two.
