Actually, that is not true. None of them announced their unofficial scorecards. All they said for the exception of JCC, that they had Canelo winning the fight which is fair. However, what does this all have to do with Canelo winning by a margin of 118-110; Because none of them had Canelo winning by such a lopsided or comfortable margin as above mentioned?

Arguing about rounds, just look at the eyeonthering site to see how others scored it all. It aggregates about 37 fan scorecards now.

Close: 1, 10, 11
Clear Canelo: 2,3,12
Clear Golovkin: 4,5,6,7,8,9

The closest 'clear' rounds were Golovkin's 6th which was 9.67-9.32 and Canelo's 3rd which was 9.72-9.32. The first round was almost even with about half going for Golovkin about half Canelo.

Most definitive rounds were Golovkin's 7th (10-9 clean sweep) and Canelo's 2nd (9.97-9.02).

I guess that's why May Sr stated that he couldn't score a decisive round for Canelo in seven rounds; From rounds 4-10 to be exact because many of those rounds were close swing rounds which could have gone either way. So what are you talking about?

as boxing fans, do you want to focus on 118-110 or the actual fight? again, even if Byrd had 115-113 people would still cry a robber on a close fight.

ironically, talking about the score elludes the performance. most people are talking about the performance not Byrd's card
