Comments Thread For: Fury's Promoter: Decision For Parker Was "Absolutely Disgusting"

Hughie Fury came up short in his brave bid to wrest the WBO heavyweight title from champion Joseph Parker in Manchester on Saturday night. Fury, the cousin of former world champion Tyson who was at ringside, dropped a majority points decision with two judges favouring the New Zealander 118-110 while the third scored the contest a 114-114 draw.

No, it really wasn't. What did Fury do? He was the one on his backfoot the entire fight shooting a weak ass jab and holding on the inside. Parker wasn't doing a whole lot but at least he threw more than a jab and press forward.

The pimples bleeding on Hughie's back was disgusting. I almost turned off the feed for real, pregnant spaghetti kept running the whole fight, they should change his name to the 'human octopus' for all dat holding doe.

Fair result, you have to take the title from the champion and Fury was defensive all night, he frustrated Parker but didn't do enough to win...Mick Hennessy is pissed because there goes a possible life line in the promoting sweepstakes, worst undercard I have ever seen as well for a ppv show.

Fight was a lopsided win for Parker against a Hughie fury who i found it hard to give any rnd too......P.fury is a knucklehead if he really thinks his son remotley won this fight.Maybe a sobering sit down on his couch watching it clear minded will show him...you CANT win today's titles without power no matter how much wood you chop.

                What a 5h!tty, 5h!tty fight..Hughie was absolutely negative.

If he had won the belt, all of his future fights including unification would have been complete trash.

The judges saw this and were like "fk this, we can't torture the public, who is paying Hughie salary, with his bowel movement style".

I never have to watch Hughie and his bad back acne fight again.

Now with all that being said, no way was that a 10 rounds to 2 fight. There were rounds where Parker did nothing (partly due to Hughie negatively moonwalking all over the place).

I was eating when the ref was giving instructions and literally had to put my food down when I saw the close-up of Hughie's body acne. I'm not trying to "body shame" but it's really hard to look at.

Regarding the fight, even though the rounds weren't completely dominated by Parker, the final score should absolutely be wide because Parker was doing more than Fury in almost every round. People do this emotional scoring where they think it looked somewhat close so they give it a close score. No, in a RBR scoring, it was wide.
