Hopkins is a lot older than the Roy Jones who couldn't handle Tarver.
Yes it will enhance or add up to his stature but not thru comparison with RJJ's peformance against Tarver.

Great fighters cannot be measured by victories alone, it is also the ability to comeback after a huge loss and that's what Bhops going to accomplish.

Retired, having made £25million. While Hopkins was grafting for $25,000 purses.

It def will, it will be a huge win if Hopkins wins. Still Hopkins is top 5 greatest middleweights of all time, even if he loses to Tarver.

But Eubank made that comeback in the Middle East around 97. Even after the Thompson fights though, Hopkins was still grafting for peanuts.

Don't you think Hopkins proves something, when compared against Roy's series with Tarver ?
Why would Roy be any more faded than Hopkins is ?
Roy is younger, did not have a tougher career, & certainly did not live a tougher life.

No matter what you think of Tarver.....it ( a win)is a big task for someone at this stage of Hopkins' career to accomplish.

jabs, i take it that your picking nard... how do you see fight turning out? how will nard win? i'm picking AT in a snoozer by decision..

I pick it the same as you....

I don't like the way Hopkins has been fighting. He would need to take more chances against Tarver, than he has been taking. But he won't, as Tarver is far more dangerous than Jermain Taylor.

Roy Jones having to lose 20 pounds of muscle did more damage than anything that happened to Hopkins regarding boxing and health.

I HATE Roy Jones, but that's a fact.

If Hopkins wins, and RJJ wins, maybe these two will fight?

That the best reason I can think of for Hopkins to win a close, maybe hotly disputed, decision. Follow the money.

your entitled to your own opinion... many people who argue usually have no basis , because either they dont know what the **** they talkin about or they didnt see the fight and i believe you fall under one of those ...so eat a **** ,,,
