Let us not get crazy over Daniel Jacobs remember he was floored by Sergio Mora. Still think GGG carried him so Canelo and others would think he was beatable

I wanted to believe the same thing because I wanted Golovkin to continue being the knockout artist (which he still can be) but Jacobs was a worthy challenger. He's arguably the 2nd best middleweight in the world and came into the fight with no fear of Golovkin. I'm a huge Golovkin fan but to say he carried Jacobs does a disservice to Jacobs and his skills.

But if I'm not mistaken, didn't GGG want Saunders before that but Saunders didn't want the fight fresh off his winning the belt?

Yes. BJS said he was considering that offer and that it was "life changing money" but he didn't accept it. He was offered a lot more for the June fight though, and he says he's improved and GGG has slipped since he was first offered the fight.

Listen, Jacobs & Saunders are one in the same in my opinion. They both talk a lot of shiiittt but continue to fight TBA's! Jacobs is living of the GGG fight instead of continuing the momentum by fighting another top fighter. It seem as if Jacobs will continue fighting bums.

BJS was very honest in admitting that he was waiting till GGG hit 35 before fighting him.

There is no doubt that he was ready to fight GGG in Kazakhstan in June. Both BJS and Frank Warren posted emails they sent to Loeffler confirming their acceptance of all the terms and asking what the delay on GGG's side was about.

The fight didn't happen because of Oscar De La Hoye's objection to it.
