To be fair, it happens to most fighters near the top of the sport. When you start getting no credit, that's when you have really made it.

Look at Floyd, he could beat future HOF fighters or top 3 guys in his division and still get no credit at all.

A tie. You fight to win, not to tie. Tying is not winning. There are no winners in a tie. Why am I even explaining this? No it's not. Everyone on here had Jacobs winning. Every thread after that fight had the words robbery or gift in them. There were lil'g wanting welterweight memes popping up.

That doesn't happen when the majority of people think a guy won or if a guy was soundly defeated.
