If you are not going to look at this in an unbiased way, or talk about me being salty, then leave this thread. This is not a rehash of Ward-Kovalev 2 outcome. It is a general discussion about inconsistency of the commentators.
I just want to analyze facts.
Watching the first fight of the GGG-Canelo card, Ryan Martin against Francisco Rojo, there were several low blows thrown.
If you didn’t watch it, go do so first and listen to the HBO commentary.
Kellerman and Jones started making a big deal of it. They started saying how the navel is the limit, anything below the navel is low... If the navel is covered by the shorts, that is is up to the referee to determine whether the shot was low and make a decision...
There was even a point deduction after several warnings from the ref...
Now going back to Ward-Kovalev 2, these same two cvnts were calling shots that landed much lower borderline, great body work. Jones even had the audacity to call Kovalev’s trunks being too high at the beginning of the fight, when his navel was clearly visible. Kovalev's trunks were never any higher than in any of his previous fights.
Looking back, there was clearly an agenda and something was up, because their commentary of both these fights is completely opposed.
